Where is the following quote:

It was not in accordance with our faith or God’s will that our missionaries should fill their hands with cares and burdens that were not essential to the work… I was shown that Brother and Sister V___ had departed from God’s counsel in bringing into the world children… The time is and has been for years, that the bringing into the world is more an occasion of grief than joy… Satan controls these children, and the Lord has but little to do with them… The time has come when, in one sense, they that have wives be as though they had none. (MS 34, 1885)

I can not find it in my white-estate CD-Rom.

Thanks!

Dear Ellen,
Do you have any guidance as to the "other half" of the 4th commandment, that part urging "six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work..."? Although potentially unpopular today, wouldn't a strict adherence to this precept prove truly "distinctive"?

Dear Ellen,

Some time ago, a few apostates claimed that you were the one responsible for burning down the Battle Creek Sanitarium. I know that you said that the fire was a result of God being upset with Dr. Kellogg and all the weirdness that was going on there.

The apostates said that when the Sanitarium was reduced to a pile of smoldering rubble, the authorities reported finding an empty gas can, a reformed dress pattern and a Choplet near buy. This would all point to you as the arsonist.

Is this true, or have I been reading too much of Daniel and Revelation?

Sincerely,

Detective

Actually, Andrew, castration would remove the desires, though it will make you physically very weak, cause big decline of immunity, loss of bone mass. However, if you want to remain a healthy man, show your wife what Paul wrote about the separation between a couple, and that it's only allowed for a short time, when both sides need to concentrate on the true spirituality alone.

Dear Gifted Prophetess,

My wife of several years has decided that we should not be enjoying ALL of the benefits of married life on a regular basis. Recently, she purchased twin beds and declared that after reading your testimonies she has decided that she "Has no time at all to waste in that direction". Needless to say, this has caused a problem in our marriage. What shall I do?

Would taking care of my needs by myself be an option? I am finding it harder and harder to....where was I?....Oh yes, harder and harder to concentrate on things and it seems that temptation is everywhere. It is almost unbearable. Even now, I find that looking at your photograph is strangely arousing.

Please help me!

Your pal,
Andrew

Dear Ellen,

I get emails ALL the time from your most ardent supporters. They call me all kinds of un-Christian descriptions like "Satanic" for objectively questioning your role as the "Spirit of Prophecy," and what you teach in your writings.

Numerous times I have publicly stated that I am careful to be honest, prayerful, and thorough when I investigate you. But they still badger me, and tell me that me I am doing the devil's work. They end their aggressive and judgmental emails with a condescending "I will be praying for you," or a polite "God Bless". I am most distraught by this because there are so many examples in the Holy Bible of God's true followers questioning anyone who says that they have had a direct message or prophecy from Him.

I have noticed you are not afraid to speak your mind. How would you suggest I deal with these kinds of people?

Sincerely,

Jeff Barron

Mrs. White,

I think I have figured out finally why I am so confused as to why there is such a delay for the tribulation, the testing of God's people, the visibility of the 144,000, and your interpretation of Christ's second coming. It must be because He is waiting to uncover His hand over all the extra-Biblical inspirations/stories, contradictions, failed prophecies, and mistakes of your writings in order to show us a greater truth of instruction from you. This must be in order to display how valuable you truly are, in the same way as He did with the great disappointment "truth!"

Once this greater understanding is finally revealed, then it will be my duty to inform all the web sites out there that cover these unruly topics that they were indeed mislead, so that they can submit to your authority as the "Spirit of Prophecy." I mean, since you are the "Spirit of Prophecy" from the book of Revelation, then all the current faithful who advocate your "gift" must naturally push all those pesky little things aside in obedience to you (and as you say, God Himself). Am I wrong? Please correct me if I am, as you excel in dealing with insubordinates such as me.

I guess the bigger question is this: considering that you now have revealed that there is yet another way to commit adultery, through dangerous dietary mindsets while consuming alternative nourishment, should members worry about committing some form of adultery if they question your writings?

Do members who think about your writings while reading the New Testament (since you are "the lesser light pointing to the greater light") commit some sort of adultery that they should know about? It all seems so confusing to me.

Perhaps if I indulge in some vinegar like you did, or somehow cross the barriers of time and space and give you a holy kiss, I will see clearly the errors within me and just give in to your authority, and fully accept your role as God's direct messenger as the Spirit of Prophecy.

Perhaps I would be cleansed of all the questions I have raised concerning your role of authority for "our time"? I better hurry, as October 22, 2006 is coming soon, and I surely do not want to be disappointed -- just in case something happens 160+ years later! You know?

Thanks for sharing, Ellen!

Dear Gifted Prophetess,

Your words are an inspiration to me...hic.

Why don't you come by my place, and we'll have a snort of vinegar and get to know each other. Maybe tune a few pianos and see if we "get crazy". You can tell me all about that "secret sin". Do those tall people on Jupiter drink vinegar too? Well, gotta go. You're the best!
